Honda has released the teaser video of the 2021 CBR600RR. The teaser video reveals the updated styling of the motorcycle that now features CBR1000RR-R inspired sleeker LED headlights and the updated colour scheme. The motorcycle retains the under-seat exhaust setup.
Apart from the styling, Honda will also upgrade the engine to comply with the newest emission norms. While the official figures would be revealed soon, we could see the reworked motor deliver around 110bhp of maximum power. The displacement should remain unchanged, and the 2021 CBR600RR should continue to use a 599cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. The 2021 model should also benefit from updated rider aids.
The hardware on the motorcycle comprises of full-LED lighting, fully digital display, upside-down telescopic front forks, rear mono-shock, twin discs at the front and a single rotor at the back.
The 2021 Honda CBR600RR will be launched in the Japanese market very soon, although it is not likely to arrive in India anytime soon. Meanwhile, the company has commenced the pre-bookings for the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade and the CBR1000RR-R Fireblade SP in the Indian market.
