Italian two-wheeler brand, MV Agusta has unveiled the 2021 Brutale range. The middleweight naked roadster series has been introduced in the European market. Previously, we brought you all the details about the Brutale 800 RR and the Dragster 800 RR. Here we bring you the details of the Rosso editions of the roadster motorcycles.
The Rosso variants are the entry-level models of the range. Other editions of the Dragster 800 range include the RR, RR SCS, and the RR SCS RC. The Brutale 800 is available in three variants – Rosso, RR, and RR SCS. The styling cues on the Rosso edition, similar to the rest of the models, include an LED headlight with LED DRL at the front, a muscular fuel tank, three-pod exhaust cannister, and a digital instrument cluster. The Dragster 800 model gets bar-end mirrors and a bobbed tail. Unlike the Dragster 800 RR and RR SCS, the Rosso edition uses alloy wheels.
The mechanical specifications are slightly different from the higher variants. The 798cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine on the Rosso variant makes 110bhp as against 138bhp on the higher variants. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The 2021 Brutale 800 and Dragster 800 range, as mentioned above, is currently available in the European market. The Brutale 800 Rosso is available at 13,400 euros (Rs 11.84 lakh) while the Dragster 800 Rosso is priced at 14,900 euros (Rs 13.17 lakh). The company will bring the Euro5-compliant models to India although the timeline is not available yet.
