MV Agusta has revealed the 2021 iterations of the Brutale 800 RR and the Dragster RR. The updated models feature revised styling along with an LED headlight at the front, a new TFT instrument cluster, and the redesigned triple exhaust outlets. The Dragster RR model further gets bar-end mirrors, bobbed tail, and wire-spoke wheels. The colour TFT display on the motorcycles benefits from Bluetooth connectivity that works with the MV Ride app.
The colour options on the Brutale 800 RR include Shock Pearl Red with Avio Grey and Carbon Black Metallic with Avio Grey Metallic. The Dragster RR, on the other hand, will be offered in Matt Magnum Avio Grey with Matt Metallic Dark Grey and Matt Magnum Silver with Matt Metallic Dark Grey.
Mechanical specifications on both motorcycles include 798cc, three-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 138bhp at 12,300rpm and 87Nm of peak torque at 10,250rpm. The motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox that benefits from an MV EAS 3.0 bi-directional quickshifter. The top speed of the motorcycles is rated at 244kmph.
The suspension setup on the Brutale 800 RR and the Dragster RR include Marzocchi upside-down front forks and Sachs mono-shock at the back. The braking setup includes twin 320mm rotors at the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear – both grabbed by Brembo-sourced callipers. A comprehensive electronics package includes ABS with cornering function, rear wheel lift-up mitigation, traction control system, launch control, and cruise control.
The Brutale 800 RR has been priced at 17,000 euros (Rs 14.96 lakh) while the Dragster RR is available at 20,000 euros (Rs 17.60 lakh) in the European markets. MV Agusta had confirmed in the past that the Euro5-compliant motorcycles will be launched in the Indian market. The finer details, however, are yet to be announced.
