The 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR has been revealed and the motorcycle will be available in several international markets soon. The biggest upgrade on the 2021 model includes mechanical changes to comply with the newest emission norms. The motorcycle also gets a few styling tweaks for 2021. Here we bring you a detailed image gallery of the 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR.
The styling, as mentioned before, does not get a major makeover. Thus, the 2021 Brutale 800 RR continues to feature a muscular design along with a sharp design for the headlight, split-style saddle, triple outlet exhaust canister, a single-sided swingarm, and a rear fender-mounted numberplate.
The 2021 Brutale 800 RR gets a revised frame with new side plates for added stiffness. The motorcycle tips the weighing scale at 175kg (dry). The colour options include Carbon Black Metallic with Avio Gray Metallic and Shock Pearl Red with Avio Gray.
Mechanical specifications retain the 798cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled, Euro5-compliant engine that produces 138bhp of power 12,300rpm and 87Nm of peak torque at 10,250rpm. The top speed of the motorcycle is rated at 244kmph.
The 2021 model also gets a new clutch and revisions to the six-speed transmission for smoother shifts. The gearbox benefits from the MV EAS 3.0 bidirectional quickshifter.
The electronic rider aids now work with a new IMU that brings added safety features to the 2021 motorcycle. These include lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, launch control, cruise control, and wheelie control.
Upgrades to the cockpit include the addition of a Bluetooth-enabled 5.5-inch TFT-display that offers turn-by-turn navigation.
The suspension setup includes Marzocchi upside-down front forks and a Sachs rear mono-shock – both adjustable for rebound, compression, and preload. The braking tasks are handled by dual 320mm discs with Brembo four-piston callipers at the front and a 220mm single disc with Brembo two-piston calliper at the back.
