- MV Agusta Brutale 800 RR updated for 2021
- Revised engine, frame and electronics
- No word about its India launch yet
MV Agusta has revealed the 2021 Brutale 800 RR for international markets. The Brutale 800 RR, which is one of the highest-selling motorcycles for the Italian manufacturer gets quite a few updates for 2021. Now, except for the subtly redesigned exhaust, the styling of the motorcycle remains the same as before.
However, under its head-turning design, the 2021 Brutale 800 RR gets a revised frame with new side plates for added stiffness. The 800cc, inline-three cylinder engine has been revised to comply with Euro 5 norms but continues to offer a healthy 138bhp. The new Brutale 800 RR also gets a new clutch and tweaks to the six-speed gearbox for smoother shifts.
Moreover, MV Agusta has also grabbed the chance and updated the electronics suite on the Brutale 800 RR with a new IMU that has opened the doors to a lean-sensitive traction control, cornering ABS, launch control, cruise control and wheelie control. While all of it can be toggled on the left-hand switchgear, the bike also gets a 5.5-inch TFT display that offers turn-by-turn navigation assists when paired to a smartphone.
With all these updates, the 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 800 makes a strong case for itself. And as tempting as it might be, there is no word about its India launch as the Italian manufacturer is yet to find a dealer partner in our country.
