- MV Agusta F3 RR to be unveiled soon
- Type-approval document leaked
- Likely to have better suspension and brakes than the Rosso
MV Agusta is likely to globally unveil the top-spec RR variant of the new 2021 F3 sportsbike soon. The type-approval documents of this model were filed in Australia sometime back, hinting at its imminent unveil. Notably, the Italian bike maker took the wraps off the Rosso edition of the F3 just last month.
Similar to the RR trim of the previous-generation sportsbike, the 2021 F3 RR too will certainly differentiate itself from other variants with some more premium components. But the nature of these changes isn’t mentioned in the leaked document. It does comprise the RR’s power figure, kerb weight, displacement, wheelbase and tyre size, all of which are identical to that of the Rosso’s.
Powering the MV Agusta F3 RR is the same 798cc, inline triple-cylinder engine with changes for Euro5 compliance. It produces around 147bhp at 13,000rpm with a kerb weight of 188kg. As for the wheelbase, it stands at 1380mm and that’s how far apart the wheels of the Rosso edition are. The changes that are likely to be featured in the F3 RR include higher-spec suspension and braking, similar to its predecessor. Expect it to get a fancier-looking paint scheme as well.
Unfortunately, we might not see these exotic machines from MV Agusta landing on the Indian shores anytime soon. After its separation from MotoRoyale in India, MV Agusta doesn’t have its retail operations in India set up yet.
