- MV Agusta to unveil the 2021 F4 tomorrow
- New electronic aids could be on cards
- India launch won’t happen anytime soon
Italian exotic bike maker MV Agusta is likely to globally unveil the new 2021 edition of the F4 tomorrow. The previous model of the litre-class sportsbike was discontinued worldwide three years back.
The iconic motorcycle is likely to be bestowed with a host of changes. However, the design might remain unchanged as it was already one of the most stunning motorcycles ever produced. The squatting stance and free-flowing lines, creases, and deep contours made it look like it’s in motion even while standing still. What will be updated though is the electronics package. Reports suggest there could be a Bluetooth-enabled TFT console along with an IMU system that will bring in a plethora of rider aids.
The new 2021 F4 might follow in its predecessor footsteps by being available in three variants including standard, R, and the top-sped RR trim with Ohlins and Brembo. As for the engine, the 998cc, inline four-cylinder motor won’t get major changes, apart from certain tweaks for compliance with the new emissions norms. This might bring along a change in its power figures which were rated at 192.3bhp and 110.8Nm for its BS4 trim.
MV Agusta’s India operations are not in place currently, hence the 2021 F4’s official launch won’t take place here anytime soon.
