The MV Agusta Rush 1000 belongs to the naked roadster category. The motorcycle will be limited to just 300 units worldwide. It comes with a special racing kit that includes a CNC fuel filler cap, machined brake and clutch levers, and protectors.
The motorcycle is available in a single colour option – Light Army Grey Matte with Dark Army Grey Matte. The standard vehicle (without the racing kit) tips the weighing scale at 186kg (dry).
The 2021 Rush 1000 packs a muscular styling that is very appealing. The front fascia includes a round, full-LED headlight while the cockpit features a 5.5-inch TFT display. The instrument cluster benefits from Bluetooth connectivity as standard.
Other features on the motorcycle include full-LED lighting, bar-end mirrors, a muscular fuel tank with air scoops on both sides, a high-mounted exhaust setup, and a disc-like design for the forged-aluminium rear wheel.
The motorcycle is powered by a 998cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 205bhp of power and 116.5Nm of peak torque. MV Agusta claims a top speed of over 300kmph. The optional SC-Project race exhaust and racing ECU further pushes the maximum power output to 209bhp.
The six-speed transmission benefits from an EAS 3.0 quick-shifter mechanism. The electronic rider aids include riding modes, launch control, cruise control, wheelie control, and cornering ABS.
The suspension tasks are handled by Ohlins Nix EC hydraulic upside-down front forks and an Ohlins EC TTX rear mono-shock – both electronically controlled and fully adjustable. The motorcycle also gets an Ohlins EC steering damper with electronic manual and automatic adjustment modes.
The braking hardware includes twin 320mm rotors with Brembo Stylema callipers at the front and a single, 220mm disc with a Brembo calliper at the back.
