- 2021 MV Agusta Rush Limited Edition revealed
- Only 300 units to be on sale globally
- Gets a top speed of over 300kmph
MV Agusta has unveiled its hyper naked 2021 Rush Limited Edition. The Italian manufacturer had announced pre-bookings for the same in July last year. Now, the 2021 model gets several updates and only 300 units will go on sale globally.
As can be seen from the images, the MV Agusta Rush surely looks very sharp and muscular. The design of the hyper naked bike is inspired by military principles. The bike comes loaded with features like all LED lights, 5.5-Inch TFT display, GPS, Bluetooth, MV ride app, mobisat tracker and navigator. It also gets safety features like ABS MK100 with cornering function, launch control, cruise control and front lift control.
Powering this hyper naked bike is a 998cc inline four-cylinder engine that sits in a CrMo steel tubular trellis frame and churns out 205.15bhp at 13,000rpm and 116.5Nm at 11,000rpm. This thrust helps it hit a top speed of over 300kmph. All this power and torque is put down via a six-speed transmission assisted by an MV EAS 3.0 quick-shift clutch.
The ride here is taken care of by Öhlins Nix EC hydraulic USD forks at the front and Öhlins EC single shock absorber at the rear. Braking duty is handled by 320mm dual-disc at the front and 220mm single-disc at the rear assisted by Brembo brake callipers. It runs on 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels that are wrapped in 120/70 section tyres at the front and 200/55 section tyres at the rear.
The company is also offering an optional racing kit that includes a carbon exhaust cover, a passenger seat cover, CNC fuel tank cap, CNC Brake/clutch levers, brake/clutch lever protectors, auxiliary sidelights, customised front brake discs, customised parts for the motor, certificate of origin, SC racing exhaust silencer and dedicated control unit.
The price of the bike starts from Euro 38,800, which converts to Rs 34.65 lakh. It gets a military paint scheme with yellow highlights which might remind you of fighter jets. Customers can also opt for a carbon fibre helmet and merchandise supplied as special parts. However, it's highly unlikely for the Rush to arrive here in the Indian market.
