Yamaha recently extended its Indonesian and Japanese portfolio by adding the 2021 MT-25. The MT-25 ABS is currently priced at Yen 6,21,500 in Japan, which converts to Rs 4.12 lakh. While its India launch seems quite unlikely, here we bring to you the complete details of the same.
Engine
The MT-25 is powered by a 249cc twin-cylinder water-cooled engine that churns out 34.9bhp at 12,000rpm and 23Nm at 10,000rpm. All this power and torque is taken to its wheels via a six-speed gearbox.
Design
The street naked motorcycle surely looks quite sharp and aggressive in terms of design. It gets a 14-litre fuel tank with extensions and Yamaha graphics on it. It also gets an upright handlebar, exhaust with a metal tip, metal footpegs and a small hexagonal rearview mirrors. It further comes with a black coloured fender for Pastel Dark Gray and Matte Dark Gray Metallic 8 colour scheme. Meanwhile, it gets matte gray fenders with Deep Purplish Blue Metallic C colour scheme.
Features
It comes with features like all LED lights, twin-LED DRLs, a full LCD instrument cluster and a split-type seat with a grab handle strap. It also gets an underbelly pan and reflectors on its sides.
Hardware
The ride here is taken care of by telescopic forks at the front and swingarm suspension at the rear. For braking, it employs a single disc on both ends assisted by a hydraulic system. It is equipped with 17-inch wheels on both ends. The front wheel is wrapped with a tyre having 110mm width. Meanwhile, the rear wheel is wrapped with a tyre having 140mm width.
Colours
There are three colours on offer: Pastel Dark Gray, Deep Purplish Blue Metallic C and Matte Dark Gray Metallic 8. The Pastel Dark Gray colour comes with Cyan colour graphics and Vivid Yellowish rims. The Deep Purplish Blue Metallic C is a performance-oriented colour that gets blue-coloured rims. The final colour option is the Matte Dark Gray Metallic 8, which is a low-contrast dark tone that gets black-coloured rims.
