- The 754cc liquid-cooled four-stroke twin-cylinder engine has received minor tweaks
- The steel trellis frame has been strengthened
- Asking price has been set to USD 9,535 (approximately Rs 7.19 lakh)
Benelli has taken the wraps off its updated Leoncino 800 trail overseas. It’s the bikemaker’s largest displacement scrambler and has received minor tweaks for 2022.
The neo-retro design cues remain unaltered and the bike continues to sport an odd U-shaped LED headlight. The exposed trellis frame has been strengthened and the side-mounted scrambler-style twin exhaust remains unaltered.
The Leoncino 800 Trail is powered by a 754cc liquid-cooled four-stroke twin-cylinder motor that dishes out 77bhp and 66.43 Nm. It’s mated to a 6-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch. On the feature front, apart from LED illumination, the Leoncino 800 Trail packs a TFT screen as well.
It’s sprung on USD forks which have been altered slightly and a monoshock at the rear. Braking hardware consists of dual 320mm front discs and a single 260mm disc with dual-channel ABS.
The asking price for the 2022 Benelli Leoncino 800 Trail is set to USD 9,535 (approximately Rs 7.19 lakh). As of now, Benelli India hasn’t made any announcement of bringing the largest Leoncino to the country, but if it does, the pricing will have to be cutting edge for the buyers to be lured in.
