Honda has announced new versions of its three models for the American market. Among the list is the 2022 iteration of its mini-moto product, the Grom.
The Grom has received a thorough makeover for the 2022 model year. The cosmetic upgrades include new bodywork that is aimed to facilitate customisation, while mechanical changes include a new engine featuring fifth gear. The 2022 Honda Grom gets a flatter seat, a bigger fuel tank (5.5 litres vs. 6 litres), and a full-featured LCD display.
The special SP colour option, featuring a Pearl White paint, comes with stylish graphics, a yellow shock spring, and a gold finish for the wheels, brake calipers and fork. Other colour options include Queen Bee Yellow and Matte Black Metallic for the non-ABS version and Candy Blue for the ABS model.
The price of the 2022 Grom range starts from USD 3,399 (Rs 2.49 lakh). The SP model has been priced at USD 3,499 (Rs 2.56 lakh) while the ABS version is available for USD 3,599 (Rs 2.63 lakh). The 2022 Honda Grom will be available at dealerships in the American market in May 2021.
