- Both motorcycles get new colours
- No changes to styling or specifications
- Indian launch unlikely soon
Italian luxury motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta has revealed the 2022 iterations of its naked roadster models, the Brutale RR and Brutale 1000 RR.
The changes to the 2022 models are limited to styling upgrades in the form of new colours. Thus, the 2022 Brutale RR is now available in three colours – Fire Red Gloss with Intense Black Gloss, Carbon Black Metallic with Avio Grey Metallic, and Shock Pearl Red with Avio Grey. The litre-class Brutale 1000 RR, too, comes in three colours now – Matte Metallic Carbon Black with Mamba Red Gloss, Fire Red with Matte Metallic Dark Grey, and Matte Metallic Aviation Grey with Matte Metallic Dark Grey and Fluorescent Yellow.
The design remains unchanged and both motorcycles retain the stylish and muscular look that includes a single-pod headlight, muscular fuel tank, and split-style seats. The feature list retains full-LED lighting, colour-TFT display, and a comprehensive electronics package.
The mechanical specifications on the Brutale RR include the Euro5-compliant 798cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that makes 140bhp at 12,300rpm and 87Nm of peak torque at 10,250rpm. The Brutale 1000 RR, on the other hand, uses a 998cc, inline-three cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that produces 208bhp at 13,000rpm and 116.5Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm.
These motorcycles are not likely to arrive in the Indian market anytime soon.
