- Triumph working on a new Street Scrambler variant
- Could get new paint schemes and added accessories
- Is likely to be launched by end of 2021
Triumph is working on a new Street Scrambler variant called ‘Sandstorm’, a leaked document filed at the US EPA revealed. This new motorcycle is likely to be launched by the end of 2021 as a 2022 model.
While there are no details of the Street Scrambler Sandstorm out there, we can expect it to follow the footsteps of the special-edition Tiger 1200 Desert that came with a paint scheme called Sandstorm. However, we can expect Triumph to not just adorn the upcoming Street Scrambler with new paint but also equip it with accessories like Arrow exhausts as standard along with some additional parts from the Triumph catalogue.
Nevertheless, the new Triumph Street Scrambler variant will be powered by the same 900cc, parallel-twin engine although now compliant with Euro 5 norms. We can expect it to continue to produce 64.1bhp of power and 80Nm of torque. It is also likely to make its way to India soon after its global launch.
