- Yamaha launches 2022 MT-03 Iron Man edition in Brazil
- Sports a red and golden colour combination
- Unlikely to come to the Indian shores
Yamaha has launched a new Iron Man edition of its naked street bike, the MT-03, in Brazil. The updated motorcycle is purely a cosmetic job as it has been left unchanged in all other aspects.
Just like the globally hallowed superhero, the MT-03 Iron Man edition sports a swanky colour combination of red and golden. On the headlamp section, you can see the Marvel’s Avenger’s logo, ‘MT’ lettering on tank extensions, and a decal with Iron Man’s helmet on the fuel tank. Moreover, the 17-inch alloy wheels get golden rim tapes.
The 2022 MT-03 doesn’t get any changes in its mechanicals. It is based on a diamond-type frame that holds a 321cc, parallel-twin, liquid-cooled engine. This motor churns out 42bhp of power and 30Nm of peak torque. The six-speed gearbox is accompanied by a slipper clutch. Damping duties are taken care of by 37mm upside-down forks for the front and a preload-adjustable monoshock at the rear. Meanwhile, stopping power comes from a 298mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brake.
Yamaha has priced the MT-03 Iron Man edition at a premium over the standard model in Brazil. Unfortunately, it’s unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
