BMW Motorrad has updated its international product portfolio with the launch of the 2023 R 1250 R roadster. The 2023 BMW R 1250 R gets several styling and feature updates and here we bring you detailed images of this motorcycle.
The styling cues include a single-pod headlight, body-coluored front fender, muscular fuel tank, radiator shrouds, engine cowl, and split-style seat. New for the 2023 version is additional styling elements such as a solo seat rear cover and the optional spoke wheels.
The 2023 version also gets a TFT display with a 'Sport' Core Screen and Bluetooth connectivity, an on-board power socket, a USB socket, and full-LED lighting as standard equipment. Meanwhile, adaptive turning lights and heated seats are available as an option.
The motorcycle is listed in three colours – Ice Grey, Triple Black, and Style Sport Racing Blue Metallic.
The mechanical specifications include a Euro5-compliant 1,254cc, liquid-cooled, boxer-twin engine with a shaft drive system that makes 136bhp at 7,250rpm and 143Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The motor benefits from the company’s BMW ShiftCam variable intake camshaft control system.
The standard electronic safety net includes the dynamic traction control system, Eco driving mode, BMW Integral ABS Pro (part-integral), and Dynamic Brake Control (DBC). Meanwhile, Riding Modes Pro with riding mode pre-selection and engine drag torque control (MSR) are available as optional equipment.
The hardware on the motorcycle includes twin 320mm front discs, a single 276mm rear rotor, upside-down front forks, and a rear mono-shock.
The Indian launch details about the 2023 R 1250 R are not available yet, however, we could see this motorcycle on our shores next year.
