- Updated model to be launched in Indonesia
- Gets styling and mechanical tweaks
- Powered by a 249cc parallel twin motor
Honda Indonesia has teased the updated version of the 2023 CBR250RR on its social media channels. It has received a notable set of changes for the latest iteration and here’s what they are.
While the 2023 model retains the design of the existing bike, its styling has been revised slightly. The fairing shape and turn indicators are different and add up to the sporty appeal of the bike. It features the same sharp LED headlight and aggressive riding stance.
Powering the 2023 Honda CBR250RR is a 249cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled motor with the output rated at 38.2bhp and 23.3Nm for the base model while the SP trim dishes out 42bhp and 25Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch.
Apart from LED illumination, the new CBR250RR also features a fully digital instrument console, three riding modes, and a quickshifter. Honda has also updated the suspension setup and equipped the 2023 CBR250RR with Showa SFF-BP inverted front forks and a monoshock. The braking hardware comprises a front and rear disc brake setup with dual-channel ABS. The setup is mounted on 17-inch alloys wrapped in a 110/70 front and a 140/70 rear tyre. It tips the weight scale at 168kg and gets a 14.5-litre fuel tank.
In Indonesia, the base model's asking price for the 2023 Honda CBR205RR is set to Rp 62,850,000 (approximately Rs 3.34 lakh sans taxes). All said the bike is unlikely to make it to India anytime soon.
