- Available in two variants
- Powered by a Euro5-compliant engine
- Indian launch unlikely soon
The EICMA in Milan, Italy witnessed the arrival of several motorcycles. Among the list of Honda motorcycles was the 2023 iteration of the Rebel 300. This cruiser-style motorcycle will be sold in the international markets and it will be available in two versions – Standard and ABS.
The Rebel 300 now complies with the newest emission norms. Thus, the mechanical specifications of this iteration include a Euro5-compliant 286cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor is linked to a six-speed gearbox.
The styling cues comprise a peanut-shaped fuel tank, aggressively raked front end, and fat tyres on large-diameter wheels. The colour palette includes two options – Candy Diesel Red and Matte Black Metallic. The position is relaxed and neutral while the suspension tasks are handled by 41mm front forks and twin rear shocks. The braking hardware, meanwhile, on both variants includes disc brakes on both wheels.
The feature list on the Rebel 300 comprises LED lighting all around, an LCD meter with gear-position indicator and fuel consumption data, and dual-channel ABS on the ABS variant. Honda will offer optional accessories for the Rebel 300. These will include a headlight cowl, meter visor, fork cover, and a new saddlebag.
The Indian launch details of the 2023 Honda Rebel 300 are not available. However, we do not expect to see this motorcycle on our shores in the foreseeable future.
