Honda Motorcycles has launched the 2023 iteration of its V-Twin-powered cruiser motorcycle, the Shadow Aero in the US market. This cruiser motorcycle will be available in a single paint option, Ultra Blue Metallic and it has been priced at USD 7,799 (Rs 6.37 lakh).
The blue paint is visible across the body panels, including the front and the rear fenders. Further, the fuel tank gets a dual-tone finish with a combination of blue and white colours. Meanwhile, parts like cylinder-head covers, air-cleaner cover, engine side covers, brake and clutch-lever brackets, rear brake pedal, shift lever, handlebar, and rear shock covers get a chrome finish. The styling cues on this motorcycle comprise a rear-swept handlebar, split-style seats, twin exhaust canisters, and spoke wheels.
The mechanical specifications on this motorcycle include a 745cc, V-twin, liquid-cooled engine with a single overhead camshaft and three valves per cylinder. This motor is linked to a five-speed gearbox and it uses a shaft final drive.
The hardware includes 41mm telescopic front forks and preload-adjustable dual shocks at the back to handle the suspension tasks. The braking duties, meanwhile, are performed by a 296mm single disc at the front and a 180mm drum setup at the back. The company also offers a dual disc version in select markets. Further, the motorcycle rides on 17-inch front and 15-inch rear wheels.
While this model has been launched in several international markets, including the US, it is not likely to reach the Indian market in the foreseeable future.
