Indian Motorcycle recently took the wraps off the highly opulent Elite version of its bagger, the Pursuit. Only 150 units of this motorcycle will be made in order to maintain its exclusivity. Although the Pursuit Elite is unlikely to enter the Indian shores, its imposing aesthetics do deserve some attention in this image gallery, isn’t it?
Electronically and hardware-wise, the motorcycle incorporates a set of fascinating equipment. For instance, the rear suspension preload can be electronically adjusted on the bike’s infotainment system.
Electronic aids like traction control and ABS are lean-sensitive courtesy of Smart Lean Technology powered by Bosch IMU. This is a technology usually seen in the higher-performance street and track bikes.
To add to the rider’s convenience, the Pursuit Elite also offers Pathfinder adaptive LED headlamp, saddlebag lights, and heated seats with temperature control buttons available on the seat and display.
While the basic information is available on retro analogue dials, the additional motorcycle data and entertainment-related controls can be accessed on a large seven-inch touchscreen display.
The infotainment system offers Apple CarPlay integration, turn-by-turn navigation, and Bluetooth connectivity. The 16-speaker music system can also be monitored and controlled on this display.
For multiple-day long rides, around 132 litres of storage space is offered by the massive, lockable saddle bags and a top box which offers all-weather protection.
The 2023 Indian Pursuit Elite is available in a choice of two colours - Super Graphite Metallic and Black Metallic paint with Shadow Bronze Chrome accents.
