Kawasaki has updated its portfolio in Indonesia with the launch of the 2023 ZX-25RR. This new variant of the quarter-litre motorcycle is available in a single colour, Lime Green with Kawasaki Racing Team graphics.
The motorcycle packs a premium feature list, and it comes equipped with a quickshifter, traction control system, power modes, and ABS as standard. It also gets LED lighting and a Bluetooth-enabled colour-TFT display. The mechanical specifications include a 249.8cc, inline four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. Then, there is the premium suspension setup that sets the RR-variant apart from the ZX-25R.
The suspension hardware comprises 37mm inverted front forks (SFF-BP) with adjustable spring preload and top-out springs. At the back, the ZX-25RR uses a horizontal back-link, BFRC lite gas-charged shock with piggyback reservoir and it comes with compression and rebound damping and spring preload adjustability, and top-out spring. The braking setup includes a single 310mm disc at the front and a single 220mm rotor at the back.
The motorcycle has been launched in the Indonesian market at 129,900,000 Indonesian Rupiah (Rs 7 lakh). In comparison, the base model is available at 105,000,000 Indonesian Rupiah (Rs 5.65 lakh) while the ABS SE version is listed at 123,500,000 Indonesian Rupiah (Rs 6.65 lakh). The India launch details for the ZX-25R and the ZX-25RR are not available, although we do not expect to see this motorcycle on our shores in the foreseeable future.
