- Gets two new paint options
- KTMConnect App gets an update
- Indian launch unlikely
KTM has unveiled the 2023 iteration of its road-biased adventure tourer motorcycle, the Super Adventure S for the international markets. For 2023, the KTM 1290 Super Adventure S will be available in two new shades – orange with black trim and grey paint.
Meanwhile, the styling retains the split-style headlight, a semi-fairing design, a 23-litre three-part fuel tank, split-style seats, dual-barrel exhaust, and alloy wheels on both ends. The feature list on the motorcycle comprises full-LED lighting, a seven-inch TFT display with new navigation software, selectable ride modes, WP semi-active suspension, ABS, and Adaptive Cruise Control. The KTMConnect App now boasts Turn-by-Turn+ guidance and waypoints markers and offers access to music and phone calls.
The mechanical specifications retain the V-Twin liquid-cooled engine that delivers a healthy 158bhp of maximum output and 138Nm of peak torque. The optional electronics for this motorcycle comprise a bidirectional quickshifter and WP Suspension Pro amongst others.
KTM will also offer add-ons and accessories via the KTM PowerParts collection. These include parts to deliver extra protection, aesthetic touches through detailing, performance enhancements, and travel items like luggage, racks, and bags.
The new 2023 KTM 1290 Super Adventure S will be available in the international markets from January 2023. The Indian launch, however, is not likely to happen in the foreseeable future.
