Yamaha has launched the 2023 MT-07 in Europe. The updated Japanese streetfighter benefits from a few worthy updates in its latest iteration. Let’s take a look.
The 2023 Yamaha MT-07 gets an LED projector headlight flanked by LED DRLs. Similar to the fascia, the remaining bodywork also looks quite muscular. However, it now features a new five-inch TFT switchable format and smartphone connectivity. It allows the rider to view incoming calls and messages and display all the readouts' essential data.
Powering the 2023 MT-07 is a 689cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder motor. The output is rated at 73.4bhp and 67Nm. The engine is mated to a six-speed gearbox and Yamaha also offers an optional quickshifter for the same.
It rides on telescopic front forks and a linked monoshock. Meanwhile, the braking hardware comprises dual 298mm front discs and a single 245mm rear disc with ABS. Yamaha has equipped the MT-07 with 17-inch wheels wrapped in 120/70 front and 180/55 rear Michelin Road 5 tyres.
In Europe, the 2023 Yamaha MT-07 retails for GBP 7,500 (approximately Rs 7.50 lakh excluding taxes). There hasn’t been any announcement from Yamaha India regarding the bike’s launch in our country.
