Yamaha has refreshed the colour palette of the smallest offering in its XSR range for 2023. And just like every model year, these new colours of the XSR15 look swanky and stunning. Although this motorcycle isn’t expected to hit our shores anytime soon, here are some of its pictures for Indian fanatics to feast their eyes on.
One of the main USPs of the XSR125, or this entire family for that matter, is its neo-retro design which is simple yet pretty elegant. It strikes a nice balance between contemporary and classic styling.
The bodywork comprises a round headlamp, a curvy fuel tank, triangular side panels, and a minimalistic floating-style tail section accommodating a single-piece seat with a ribbed pattern.
While all the colour options look vibrant and eye-catchy, the blue shade, in particular, looks more premium courtesy of its golden alloy wheels, as opposed to back wheels on white and yellow trims.
For a 125cc offering, the XSR125 is generously equipped with high-class components like a Deltabox chassis, upside-down forks at the front, an aluminium swingarm, and disc brakes at both ends.
Propelling the motorcycle is the same 125cc, liquid-cooled engine that does duty on the R125 and MT125. It pumps out 14.8bhp at 10,000rpm and peak torque of 11.5Nm at 8000rpm.
The feature list is also pretty impressive. It incorporates LED lighting all around and the instrumentation setup comprises a round-shaped negative LCD console which shows a decent amount of information.
In the international markets, the Yamaha XSR125 goes up against the likes of the KTM 125 Duke and the Honda CB125R.
