- 2024 Honda ADV 160 launched in Malaysia
- Comes in new grey and white colour options
- Technical specifications remain unchanged
Honda has updated its popular adventure-styled scooter, the ADV 160, for 2024 in Malaysia. The update comes in the form of two new colour options including grey and white while the technical specifications remain unchanged.
The ADV 160 boasts a butch and rugged stance which makes it look very different than most other scooters. The front section comprises a muscular apron with a menacing-looking, twin-LED headlamp setup along with a tall windscreen. Similar to the Yamaha Aerox, there’s a large centre spine blending with the long tail which accommodates a spacious seat. Moreover, the new colour options are adorned with edgier decals on the side panels.
What adds ruggedness to its design and ride experience is the large 14-13-inch alloy wheel combination with chunky, block-pattern tyres. Even the engine is a decently potent 156.9cc, liquid-cooled unit that produces 15.8bhp and 14.7Nm and comes mated to a CVT gearbox. It continues to be impressive on the feature front with traction control, dual-channel ABS, height-adjustable windscreen, Smart Key with anti-theft alarm, a USB charging port, and a massive 30-litre under-seat storage provision.
As of now, the India arrival of the Honda ADV 160 is unlikely. However, we hope Honda launches the scooter in India in the future as it will add variety and excitement to the brand’s portfolio and give tough competition to the Yamaha Aerox 155.
