Honda has launched the 2024 Africa Twin Adventure Sport in Europe. The Japanese ADV has received a host of new updates in its latest version and here is what we know about it.
Honda has made minor tweaks to the 2024 Africa Twin Adventure Sport’s design. The front fairing has been reworked slightly for better aerodynamics and there are two new paint schemes as well. The latest Africa Twin model can be bought in Matt Ballistic Black Metallic and Pearl Glare White, with the latter being a tricolour theme.
Powering the 2024 Honda Africa Twin is a 1,084cc parallel-twin cylinder engine that makes 100.5bhp and 112Nm. The torque figure is more than before and also available earlier at the rev band. Not to mention, it is available in two models – a six-speed gearbox with a DCT and the same with a manual setup. Then, its features list includes ride modes, ABS modes, cruise control, an Electronically Equipped Ride Adjustment feature, and a 6.5-inch TFT with smartphone connectivity.
Honda has also upgraded the Africa Twin’s hardware. It now has a 19-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear unit. These are wrapped in 110/80 front and 150/70 rear tyres, respectively.
In Europe, the Africa Twin Adventure Sport is priced at EUR 19,540 (approximately Rs. 17.89 lakh sans taxes) whereas the DCT model costs EUR 20,740 (approximately Rs. 18.99 lakh). Both the models are likely to be launched in India soon.
