- Now adheres to the Euro 5 norms
- Gets an updated traction control system
- To go on sale internationally in 2024
Husqvarna has unveiled the updated Norden 901 in the US. It has received cosmetic and feature updates for 2024 and here’s what we know about the upcoming motorcycle.
Husqvarna has introduced a new paint scheme of grey and yellow for the bike. The exhaust design has been altered and the Norden 901 meets the Euro 5 norms now. Moreover, the features have also been updated and it gets a hazard light that blinks during emergency braking. Then, the traction control system comes with an ‘Explorer Mode’ and offers 10 levels of rear wheel slip. Other rider aids like cornering ABS from Bosch, four ride modes, ride-by-wire throttle, and a two-way quickshifter are also offered on the 2024 Husqvarna Norden 901.
Powering the Norden 901 is an 899cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine. It makes 105bhp and 100Nm and is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The Norden rides on spoke wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tyres and gets a dual front and single rear disc.
Its design remains largely unchanged and the Norden continues to sport a round LED headlight topped by a smoked visor. The large single-piece tank panels, too, are the same and the overall tall stance has also been retained.
The bike will go on sale in January 2024 in the international market. It is unlikely to be launched in India anytime soon.
