- Limited to 700 units
- Entire batch sold out in three days
- Gets components similar to KTM Dakar Rally bike
All 700 units of the limited edition 2024 KTM 890 Adventure R Rally have already been sold out! The Austrian bike maker opened online bookings for the motorcycle on 20 September, 2023. The company will be making only 700 units of the bike all of which were taken within three days of the commencement of bookings.
Interestingly, KTM hadn’t announced the pricing of the bike until the opening of bookings. When it did, the bike turned out to be quite expensive in Europe at €22,990 (approximately Rs. 20.22 lakh). However, the exorbitant pricing didn’t deter people from grabbing it. Looking at the package that the bike is, the buyers certainly won’t regret paying that price.
Although it comes powered by the same 889cc, parallel-twin LC8c motor that does duty on the standard 890 Adventure, KTM has used a bunch of internal components from its PowerParts catalogue to bump up the performance. Similarly, it rides on WP Xlpor Pro suspension setup which is similar to what the bike maker uses in its Dakar Rally motorcycles.
For buyers who intend to explore the full potential of the 890 Adventure R Rally limited edition, KTM is exclusively offering them the Ultimate KTM Desert Experience tour. It will be a specially curated expedition in the Moroccan Desert with full technical support and a special itinerary involving riding through the prime rally terrain.
