- Zero S updated for 2024
- Offers max range of 248km
- Will not be launched in India
American electric motorcycle manufacturer, Zero has unveiled the 2024 edition of the S at the EICMA 2023.
Now, interestingly, the 2024 Zero S isn’t just a simple model year update. It has been massively revamped from the previous model. To begin with, the 2024 model uses a motor called the Z-Force 75-7 that comes with a 14.4kWh battery pack. This is two times the 2023 Zero S’ 7.2kWh battery and puts out 132Nm. That said, Zero claims a max city range of 248km with a highway range of 182km.
Moreover, the 2024 Zero S can be charged to 95 per cent in 9.2hrs through the standard charger. The brand also offers a Level 2 charger that can charge the battery in 4hrs. But if customers want a faster charge, Zero has the Rapid Charger that can ‘fuel-up’ the S to 95 percent in 1.3hrs.
Zero Motorcycles hasn’t updated the the design of the 2024 S extensively. Only making subtle styling changes to the LED lighting and shape of tank. The S offers an accessible seat height of 787mm that is targeted at a wider range of riders. Now, what you will find more interesting is that the Zero S could be launched in India since the brand has joined hands with Hero Motocorp to manufacturer their electric motorcycle in the country and launch a range by 2025.
