-Powered by a Fireblade-derived 999cc in-line, four-cylinder engine

Honda has launched the 2025 iteration of the CB1000 Hornet and the CB1000 Hornet SP in the UK. The litre-class naked streetfighter competes against the Suzuki GSX-S1000, Yamaha MT-10, and the Kawasaki Z900.
The standard model is priced at GBP 8,999 (Rs. 9.82 lakh), while the SP variant costs GBP 9,999 (Rs. 10.91 lakh). The CB1000 Hornet SP features Öhlins TTX36 rear monoshock, fully adjustable Showa forks, and Brembo Stylema front brake callipers. The motorcycle looks sporty with an aggressive fascia, which seems to have drawn inspiration from the Ducati Streetfighter V4.
Powering the Honda CB1000 Hornet is a detune version of the 999cc, four-cylinder engine that powered the 2017 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade. The engine develops 150bhp at 11,000rpm and 104Nm of peak torque at 9,000rpm. Meanwhile, the SP variant produces 155bhp and 107Nm. While the Fireblade’s engine made most of its power in the top end, Honda claims that the Hornet’s motor has been tuned for better performance in the low and mid-range.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet comes with three preset ride modes - Rain, Standard, and Sport - and two customisable ’User’ modes. Each mode offers a different level of power, engine braking, and traction control intervention. In the User modes, riders can alter these parameters as per their requirements. The motorcycle also gets a colour TFT display, LED projector headlamp, and Bluetooth connectivity.
The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP comes with a quickshifter as standard and is finished in a unique black and gold JPS-style livery.
