- CB650R to be launched in India soon
- Official unveil to take place at Bharat Mobility 2025
- Likely to be priced close to Rs. 10 lakh
Honda has teased the India launch of the 2025 CB650R on its social media channels. The motorcycle will most likely be unveiled at the Bharat Mobility 2025 in Delhi followed by the price announcement at a later stage.
The latest model of the naked street bike boasts multiple updates over its predecessor. While the overall stance remains similar to the previous model, the headlamp is slightly different, the tank extensions mimic air intakes, and the tail section looks sharper. Honda has also equipped the bike with a new five-inch colour TFT screen that shows more data than before and supports Bluetooth connectivity.
The biggest talking point of the 2025 Honda CB650R is the new E-Clutch system which takes care of the gear-shifting process. Now, whether Honda brings the E-Clutch variant to India remains to be seen. Powering the bike is a 649cc inline four-cylinder engine that makes 94bhp and 62.3Nm. It is linked to a six-speed gearbox. The latest model also gets an upgraded Showa suspension setup for improved damping and a more comfortable ride.
The 2025 Honda CB650R could be priced upwards of Rs. 10 lakh, ex-showroom considering the previous model was pegged at Rs. 9.15 lakh before it was discontinued in India.
