The 2025 Honda CBR650R has been launched in India at Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom. This marks the return of the supersport bike in India. The CBR650R, in its 2025 avatar, is markedly different from the bike we last saw here.
The design of the 2025 CBR650R, is sharper and more aggressive than before. It gets twin LED headlights with a short windshield above it. The side fairings are also more sportier-looking than the ones on the previous bike. The bike comes in a rather fetching Grand Prix Red colourway. It is also available in Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic.
The bike is powered by a 649cc, liquid-cooled, four-cylinder engine that makes 93bhp at 12,000rpm and 63Nm at 9,500rpm. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox.
Under the bodywork there is a steel diamond frame that is suspended by a Showa SFF USD fork and a monoshock with 10-step preload adjustment. The bike rides on 17-inch wheels while braking is taken care of by twin discs at the front and a disc brake at the rear.
In terms of features, the bike gets all-LED lights, TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity, and more. The Honda CBR650R goes up against the Triumph Daytona 660.
