- Gets two new colour schemes
- Features comfortable ergonomics
- Powered by a 471cc, parallel-twin motor
Honda has showcased the 2025 CL500 scrambler at EICMA 2024. The updates come in the form of visually-pleasing aesthetics and comfortable ergonomics.
For 2025, the Honda CL500 gets two new colours options - Pearl Dusk Yellow and Matt Fresco Brown. Other changes include a bigger 12-litre fuel tank and a new upswept exhaust canister with dual ports. The motorcycle has also received ergonomic updates such as a lower seat height of 790mm and a comfortable riding posture with altered footpegs positioning.
On the mechanical front, the CL500 continues to be powered by a 471cc, parallel-twin motor. The fuel mapping has been changed to comply with Euro 5+ emission norms, while the intake system has been upgraded as well. The engine continues to produce 45.9bhp at 8,500rpm and a peak torque of 43.4Nm at 6,250rpm. Honda has changed the rear sprocket size to 41 teeth from the earlier 40-teeth unit, which has resulted in quicker acceleration.
Feature-wise, the CL500 gets full-LED lighting, new LCD dash for better legibility, and an Emergency Stop Signal (ESS). The motorcycle will go on sale in the international markets soon. That said, there is no word on whether Honda will launch it here in India.
