The tall front suspension might give it the appearance of an off-road bike, but the quilted seat doesn’t exactly look comfortable.
The round yellow-tinted headlamp sits squarely between the fork. A bar-end mirror protrudes from one end of the straightbar.
Propelling the Yamaha TW 125 is an upgraded 175cc air-cooled single-cylinder engine which makes 17 horsepower.
The switchgear (rather the absence of one) and the minuscule brake cylinder complement the TW125’s lean appearance.
The fat and chunky rear tyre contradicts the TW125’s minimalistic character. It looks exciting nonetheless.
This fat tyre, long suspension travel and the tall stance give it the appearance of a high riding dune buster.
The narrow fuel tank should make it easy for the rider to grip, while the rider hangs on to the wide straight bar.
The TW125 is painted in a traditional yellow-black paint scheme. The retro clock is unconventionally positioned besides the fuel tank.
The box under the seat holds the battery, CDI, relays and the key start.
The blacked-out frame, engine, suspension and the exposed air filter bump up the TW125’s raw appeal.
