Mahindra has introduced the Mojo UT300, a cut price version of the Mojo 300, which has now been rebranded to Mojo XT300. The Mojo UT300 has been priced at Rs 1.49 lakhs (ex-showroom Delhi).
The company has also introduced an introductory benefit of Rs 10,000 for the Mojo UT300, which will be valid till March 2018. While the company didn't reveal the exact nature of benefit, we're expecting it to be in the form of riding gear and accessories.
This affordable Mojo retains the 300cc single cylinder liquid-cooled motor but loses the fuel-injection and gets a carburetor system instead. It also doesn't get the premium upside down forks. Rather it gets the traditional forks. The exhaust on the left and LED DRLs have been ditched to keep the pricing down. The Pirelli tyres have made way for the cheaper MRF Zapper tyres.
With this new variant, Mahindra will be able to pull some customers who are looking at the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 350X and the Bajaj Dominar non-ABS as they are equally priced.
