CF Moto, a China-based company has partnered with AMW Motorcycles which is based out of Hyderabad to make its entry in India on 4 July. The company will launch four motorcycles on the same day with one of the products being the 300NK. Here we tell you what to expect from the upcoming motorcycle.
Design and features
All motorcycles that roll-out from CF Moto has been designed by Kiska Designs, the Austrian-company behind KTM’s famous styling. And the 300NK is no different. The bike uses a tubular trellis design for its frame, sub-frame as well as swingarm. It gets an imposing stance courtesy its low-slung, full-LED headlamp and muscular fuel tank.
The rear section is swept up and features split seats. The CF Moto 300NK sports an underbelly exhaust and neatly-designed five-spoke alloy wheels. In terms of features, the 300NK is likely to sport a large, full-colour TFT display with a ‘sport mode’ and ‘rain mode’ which changes the display layout.
Engine
The CF Moto 300NK is powered by a 292cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 33.5bhp and 20.5Nm of torque. It is mated to a six-speed gearbox and final chain drive.
Cycle Parts
CF Moto has equipped the 300NK with inverted forks up front and a monoshock at the rear. It rides on 110/70 section front and 140/60 section rear tyre with 17-inch wheels at both ends. The CF Moto gets a low seat height of 795mm. The bike offers a 12.5-litre fuel tank and tips the scale at 151kg.
Price
We expect CF Moto to price the 300NK competitively and hence is likely to cost somewhere between Rs 2 lakhs to Rs 2.2 lakhs. It will compete against the KTM 250 Duke and the Honda CB300R in the country.
