- SEAT enters two-wheeler segment
- Showcases e-scooter concept
- Can do 114kms in a single charge
The Spanish car company SEAT has entered the growing two-wheeler segment. The company has unveiled a new e-scooter concept at the Barcelona Smart City Expo World Congress.
Along with this new concept, the company has also launched a new business unit that aims to develop urban mobility vehicles. This unnamed e-Scooter is powered by a 7kW motor mounted on the rear wheel. The company claims that the scooter can be ridden for almost 114kms in a single charge. It has a top speed of 100kmph and comes with a removable battery.
The company believes that this scooter will be a perfect fit for SEAT younger car owners. The average age of these customers are close to 10 years lower than the other European car makers. This clearly puts Indian market out of the equation has the company doesn’t sell any cars in India.
