- May compete in the middleweight segment
- Likely to get second-generation 5.5-inch TFT display
- Could rival the Ducati Scrambler and Triumph Street Scrambler
Italian two-wheeler manufacturer, MV Agusta may introduce a scrambler style motorcycle in the future. Answering the queries from the fans and followers of the two-wheeler brand, Timur Sardarov, CEO, MV Agusta said that the scrambler may arrive in two years. Sardarov kept his answer brief and did not reveal any details about the motorcycle.
While the details are scarce, we can expect the scrambler to arrive in the middleweight segment. If it does, it will rival the likes of Ducati Scrambler (800) and the Triumph Street Scrambler (900). Similar to the rest of the MV Agusta products, the scrambler will most likely carry a premium price tag than its competitors.
Expect the MV Agusta scrambler to pack top-spec components, along with the company’s newest second-generation, Bluetooth-enabled 5.5-inch TFT display. The second-generation display has already started to make way to MV Agusta motorcycles, and all Euro5 models from the Italian brand will get the feature. The new display is compatible with MV Ride app.
Apart from working on a scrambler, the Italian brand may also introduce a cruiser segment motorcycle in the future. In the same IGTV video, Sardarov stated that the cruiser may arrive in a couple of years.
