- To retain the styling of the BS4 version
- The updated motor may produce slightly lower power
Mahindra has confirmed via its social media channels that it will launch the BS6-compliant Mojo 300 very soon. The updated motorcycle, which complies with the newest emission norms, was recently seen through spy photographs.
The motorcycle, as seen in the spy images, does not get a major cosmetic upgrade over its BS4 version (Mojo UT 300). Thus, the BS6 model will continue to feature twin-pod headlight, muscular fuel tank, single-piece saddle in dual-tone colour, split-style pillion grab rail and an engine cowl.
The cycle parts, similar to the BS4 version, will include conventional telescopic forks at the front and a rear mono-shock. The braking setup will comprise of disc brakes on both wheels while the safety net will be provided by dual-channel ABS.
Mechanical specifications will most likely retain 295cc of displacement. The single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, in BS4 form, produced 26bhp at 7,500rpm. The BS6 model may witness a marginal drop in power output.
While the company has teased the upcoming Mojo 300 BS6, it has not announced a launch date.
