Piaggio has updated its Indonesian product portfolio with the launch of the 75th Anniversary Edition Vespa scooters. The 75th Anniversary Edition range includes two models – Vespa Primavera 150 and Vespa GTS. The Vespa Primavera 150 75th Anniversary Edition has been priced at Rp 64 million (Rs 3.27 lakh) while the Vespa GTS 75th Anniversary Edition is available at Rp 175 million (Rs 8.95 lakh).
Both scooters receive special paint and graphics. The vehicles feature a special yellow metallic bodywork while the side panels and mudguard feature the number “75” to commemorate the 75th anniversary. Another styling cue on these special edition models is a large circular leather bag mounted on the tail. The yellow metallic paint is complemented by grey wheels with a diamond finish. Furthermore, the seat cover gets leather treatment while the rear-view mirrors, instrument cluster, luggage rack, and exhaust feature a chrome finish.
Buyers of these special edition scooters would get a welcome kit that would comprise an Italian silk scarf, a vintage steel Vespa plate, personalised owners’ book, and eight collector postcards depicting the eight decades of Vespa history. Both scooters would be available during 2021.
