Suzuki records 13.6 per cent sales hike in October

- Suzuki registers 13.6 per cent hike in sales

- Sold 74,610 units last month

- Recorded highest ever monthly sales

Suzuki Motorcycle India has recorded a substantial hike in its overall two-wheelers sales in the month of October. Domestic sales and exports combined, the manufacturer dispatched 74,610 units in the last month which was up from 65,673 units in October 2018. This accounted for a growth of 13.61 per cent. Considering the domestic sales alone, Suzuki recorded a growth here as well. While it sold 61,768 two-wheelers in October last year, the figure went up to 66,215 units in the corresponding month this year. This is a difference of 4,447 units.

Despite the market slowdown which has affected a majority of manufacturers over the last few months, Suzuki has consistently witnessed a rise in its sales. However, before October, the growth was insignificant as Suzuki was also facing the brunt of sales slump up to some extent. But courtesy the onset of festive season last month, the bike maker now seems to be registering a considerable growth. Notably, the domestic sales figure in October is the highest ever recorded by the company.
