- Ampere Electric introduces exchange offer for its scooters
- Can be bought in exchange of an old petrol-powered two-wheeler
- Offer available only in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad
Ampere Electric has joined hands with CredR, an omni-channel used two-wheeler consumer brand, to introduce a new exchange offer for its electric scooters. Under this scheme, a consumer can exchange their old petrol-powered two-wheeler for a new Ampere e-scooter.
The buyers who want to avail this offer need to visit their nearest Ampere dealership where their old two-wheeler will be physically inspected. Following this, an estimated value of the two-wheeler will be finalised through the proprietary pricing application powered by CredR. This estimated price of the old two-wheeler will be deducted from the final cost of the Ampere scooter and the customer will have to pay the difference amount. Initially, the offer will be available only in Delhi-NCR, Bengaluru, Pune and Hyderabad while it will be introduced in other cities at a later stage.
Ampere Electric is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Graves Cotton and it has six electric scooters in its portfolio. Its newest offering is the Magnus Pro which was launched in June this year. Priced at Rs 73,990 (ex-showroom), it is the brand’s flagship product with a top speed of 55kmph and battery range of around 70-80km per charge. Meanwhile, the most affordable Ampere offering, V 48, is slow speed e-scooter with 25kmph of top speed and 45-50km of range. The V 48 costs Rs 34,899 (ex-showroom).
