- Ampere introduces battery subscription plan for Magnus Pro

The electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Ampere Electric, has introduced a unique battery subscription plan for its newly-launched Magnus Pro e-scooter. The plan has been rolled out in association with Autovert Technologies, a financial technology platform that specialises in EV subscription products.
The aim of this battery subscription plan is to make buying the Magnus Pro easier for the customers. The scooter has been priced at Rs 73,990 (ex-showroom). However, the customers opting for the plan need to pay only Rs 49,990 at the time of purchase and start paying the monthly battery subscription cost of Rs 1,990 from the consecutive month. For now, the new scheme will be available only in select dealerships in Bangalore and will be rolled out across India in the coming days.
Ampere is also offering other benefits with the electric scooter including an extended warranty of five years along with full vehicle insurance, service and maintenance for 24 months, attractive upgrade options and discounts on battery replacement. Furthermore, the company has also introduced full vehicle subscription plans on the Magnus Pro and Zeal models with monthly instalments starting at Rs 2,777.
The Ampere Magnus Pro was launched in India in June this year. It is propelled by a 1.2kW electric motor which is powered by a 60V30Ah lithium-ion battery. It is claimed to deliver a riding range of 70-80km while the top speed is rated at 55kmph.
