Greaves Electric Mobility has announced the launch of its high-speed electric scooter, the Ampere Primus. This new product has been launched in our market at Rs 1,09,900 (ex-showroom). In terms of performance, the new Ampere Primus uses a 4kW PMS motor and boasts a top speed of 77kmph and a 0-40kmph acceleration time of under five seconds.
The new Primus features four ride modes – Eco, City, Power, and Reverse. The company claims a true range of over 100km on a full charge in the Power mode. The range further improves in the Eco Mode.
The feature list includes Bluetooth connectivity and navigation with a dedicated phone application. The scooter is available in four dual tone paint options in a matte finish – Himalayan White, Royal Orange, Havelock Blue, and Buck Black.
The hardware on this electric scooter includes telescopic front forks, a rear spring, and drum brakes on both wheels. The styling cues include a tall-set headlight, apron-mounted front turn indicators, a step-up seat, and a single-piece pillion grabrail.
