- Extension valid for Vespa and Aprilia two-wheelers sold in India
- Warranty and free service period extended until 31 July, 2021
- Valid for vehicles whose warranty and services expire within the lockdown period
Piaggio Vehicles has announced the extension of warranty and free service period of the Vespa and Aprilia scooters in India. The extension aims to ensure that the customers do not lose the benefits like free service and warranty due to the current travel restrictions imposed in many states to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
Piaggio has extended the validity of warranty and free service period by one month. The benefit will be available for the customers whose warranty and free service expires within the lockdown period. The warranty and services expiring during the lockdown will be extended by one month post lockdown or maximum until 31 July, 2021. Currently, the travel restrictions are scheduled to be lifted on 31 May, 2021 in some states.
Speaking about the extension Diego Graffi, Chairman and Managing Director of Piaggio India, said that this extension would give the customers some relief as they will be able to use the services smoothly post the lockdown.
