- A2-license compliant
- Gets winglets and single-sided swingarm
- Powered by a 449.5cc, parallel-twin engine
Chinese bike maker CFMoto has launched the A2-license-compliant 450SR S sportsbike in Europe. The motorcycle will rival the Aprilia RS 457, Kawasaki Ninja 500 and the Honda CBR500R.
Powering the 450SR S will be a 449.5cc, parallel-twin engine that produces 46.3bhp and 39.5Nm. The motor gets a 270-degree firing order and comes paired with a six-speed gearbox. That said, the biggest USP of the motorcycle is the single-sided swingarm and the fairing-mounted winglets.
The motor is housed inside a chromium molybdenum steel trellis chassis that weighs merely 11kg. The CFMoto 450SR S has a kerb weight of 179kg and a fuel-carrying capacity of 14 litres. It gets a 320mm front disc and a larger 240mm rear disc along with dual-channel ABS. The bike is suspended on 37mm upside-down forks up front and a monoshock at the back.
Feature-wise, it gets a full-colour TFT instrument cluster, twin LED headlights, traction control system, and mobile connectivity. Moreover, it also comes equipped with automatic headlights, ESS emergency braking, and an underbelly exhaust.
