The Aprilia SRV850 and Mana 850 GT were few of the bikes sold in India which feature a CVT (Continuous Variable Transmission). These bikes have now been discontinued in India.
Both, the SRV850 and Mana 850 GT share the same engine. The engine is a 839cc V-twin that produces 76bhp and 73Nm of torque. It is mated to a CVT but does not get paddle shifters or riding modes. However, both the bikes get ABS as standard. The SRV850 maxi-scooter gets an LCD instrument console, GPS, alarm and carbon fibre lookalike parts. While the Mana 850 gets a fuel tank under the rear seat, meaning that there is usable storage space where the tank would be located.
Both the bikes are Euro4 compliant. However since the SRV850 and the Mana 850 are sub-850cc, they would have to be homologated by the Automotive Research Association of Indian (ARAI) to be sold in India. But due to the lack in demand for both the bikes, Aprilia seems to have now discontinued them. Although, we’re still awaiting word from the company and will keep you updated.
