- Aprilia Tuareg 660 to be introduced in 2020
- Will be powered by 660cc, parallel-twin engine
- Could make its way to India sometime in 2021
Aprilia recently took the wraps of the RS660 and also unveiled the Tuono 660 concept at the 2019 EICMA. Now, the manufacturer has teased the Tuareg 660, its upcoming middleweight adventure motorcycle at the show.
The teaser leaves a lot to imagination, but picking up on the few details that are visible, we know that the Tuareg 660 sports spoke wheels on both ends (likely to be a 21-inch front, 19-inch rear) shod with dual-sport tyres.
It also reveals the adventure motorcycle’s engine sump guard, high-set exhaust and handguards along with the ‘Tuareg’ badging. Moreover, the motorcycle is also built around a tubular trellis frame that is finished in red.
While details are unknown, we expect the Tuareg 660 to be powered by a retuned version of the RS660’s 660cc parallel-twin motor. While the unit on the supersport churns out 100bhp, the Tuareg is likely to pump out around 95bhp. Aprilia is expected to introduce the Tuareg 660 sometime next year as a 2021 model. It is likely to make its way to India after its global launch.
