Aprilia has listed its adventure motorcycle, the Tuareg 660, on its global website. The Tuareg 660 is expected to be launched in the international markets by the end of this year, while its India launch details are unavailable yet. To know more about the adventure bike, let's take a look at the image gallery of the same.
The Aprilia Tuareg 660 gets a tall and robust stance. The adventure motorcycle comes with a windscreen at the front, tank extensions with Tuareg graphics, underbelly pan, single piece flat seat, raised exhaust and cross-spoke wheels. As of now the company has only revealed a Blue/White colour option.
The adventure bike is offered with features like LED headlamp, daytime running LED, five-inch TFT instrument cluster, switchable ABS, four riding modes and APRC suite that gets traction control and cruise control system.
The Aprilia Tuareg 660 is powered by the 660cc parallel-twin engine that we have already witnessed with the RS 660 and Tuono 660. This engine sits in a tubular steel frame and produces 78.9bhp of power and 70Nm of twist.
The ride of the adventure motorcycle is taken care of by 43mm inverted forks at the front and a progressive linkage mono shock suspension at the rear. Meanwhile, for braking it mounts a single disc on both ends with Brembo calipers assisted by ABS.
The Tuareg 660 mounts a 21-inch rim at the front and an 18-inch rim at the rear. These are cross-spoke wheels that are wrapped in dual-sport tyres. The seat height of the motorcycle is less than 860mm while it weighs 187kg.
