Aston Martin unveils its new AMB 001 Pro superbike at EICMA 2022

- Powered by a 997cc V-twin motor

- Gets a 42bhp power bump over the previous model

- Will be limited to 88 bikes world wide

Aston Martin and Brough Superior have unveiled their latest exotic motorcycle, the AMB 001 Pro. It’s the second model from the JV of the two brands. The AMB 001 will be a limited edition model and only 88 units will be offered worldwide.

Left Front Three Quarter

It takes inspiration from the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro. Featuring a sleek design like the predecessor, the AMB 001 Pro’s bodywork too is exceptionally aerodynamic. That said, the new model comes with a fixed front fairing rather than a removable unit. The structure is made of lightweight materials like carbon fibre and more composites. So, the AMB 001 weighs 175kg (dry).

Engine From Left

The AMB 001 Pro packs a 997cc V-twin motor with the output rated at 225bhp, claiming it to be 42bhp more than the predecessor. Moreover, unlike the previous model, the latest one is naturally aspirated. The motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox and benefits from a slipper clutch.

The AMB 001 Pro’s aluminum frame is suspended on a new front suspension. It’s a Fior-type aluminum front fork with 120mm travel and the rear end gets a die-cast aluminum swingarm with 124mm travel. The braking hardware comprises dual 320mm front discs and the rear gets a 230mm single disc. Further, the AMB 001 Pro rides on 17-inch carbon fibre wheels wrapped in a 120/70 front and 200/55 rear tyre.

Aston Martin has unveiled the AMB 001 Pro at EICMA 2022 and it’s likely going to be built-to-order. That said, the chances of even a single unit landing on the Indian shores are bleak.
